Description		This program is designed to prepare individuals for the CompTIA A+ certification exam. Optional TNCC enrollment is available for the course. If students choose dual enrollment, students will receive college as well as high school credit. The corresponding 3-credit TNCC course is IST 220 Microcomputer: Operating Systems, Architecture and Hardware.

		Chesterfield Automotive Career Education Center Partnership

Description		The Chesterfield Automotive Career Education Center Partnership is a business partnership between the Chesterfield Technical Center and over 57 dealerships in the Richmond area. The partnership helps CTC upgrade its automotive technology education program while the school in turn, helps provide qualified technicians to area dealerships. Mentorships are a part of the program as each dealership assigns as veteran teachers are assigned to work with the students assigned to their business. Students who stay with the same company for 3 years will receive over $300 worth of tools free. The program has been in place since 2000 and so far, over 70% of those placed have remained on the job.
