Knowledge Always Transfers

Can you learn more than drafting from a drafting class? Chad Campbell says so. “On the surface, basic technical drawing gave me an edge in engineering school. But later, in the business world, I learned that communicating ideas efficiently is invaluable. My basic technical drawing classes taught me how to simplify complex physical concepts and to present them in a manner comprehensible without a slide rule or pocket protector.”

Those same classes also helped fuel Chad’s interest in engineering. From his studies in technology education at Langley High School, Chad proceeded on to the Georgia Institute of Technology for an engineering degree, and then earned an MBA at the University of Maryland.

Today, Chad applies the knowledge gained from his broad educational background as project manager at a Washington-based energy and environmental consulting firm.
